About WINTER / MORNING LIGHT
An homage to the subtle gifts of nature. A primordial wooded setting, a specific location, a moment in time during a winter morning following an overnight snow fall when the warmth of the frail February morning sun releases from the trees a mist of powdery crystals. Can nature hear this beautiful sound and feel the touch of this ethereal moment?
This painting was accomplished in the artist’s studio following Plein air sketches and photographs.
