Eye of Horus-Falcon Headed Pharaoh (1)

I expanded my sketch 400%. It looked Egyptian. Research revealed that the Eye of Horus was the falcon headed sun god representing new life and the opening of the eye.
This Art Quilt is designed with fabric, thread, batting, and paint. I used bias strips between the sections of the design and painted the background. Eye of Horus measures 41" wide by 63" in height.
