We cordially invite you to join us for our FREE Artists Discussions Series.

Artists Guild and Liberty Station artists are encouraged to bring artwork to present to the audience during the first hour. This is an excellent opportunity to network with other artists and view each other’s works.

11 a.m. – Carol Sebastian-Neely, Interim Executive Director, VISIONS ART MUSEUM: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles

Subject:  Presentation on the VISIONS ART MUSEUM, Liberty Station: www.visionsartmuseum.org.

Attendees are invited to tour the Museum after the meeting.

The Museum promotes contemporary quilt making as a fine art. Quilt San Diego was founded in 1985 as an organization which would create the biennial exhibition known as Quilt Visions. In 2007, Visions Art Quilt Gallery opened to the public in Liberty Station. Visions Art Quilt Gallery became Visions Art Museum in 2010.  The Museum now features 16 exhibitions per year, including the Online Exhibits, Member Challenges, and the Quilt Visions and Interpretations biennials.  The Museum also presents lectures and workshops by noted quilt and textile artists.
