Jackson Gate Wheel: Jackson, Califoronia Ghost Town

Jackson Gate Wheel: Jackson, Califoronia Ghost Town
Artwork Length: 24.00in.
Artwork Width:  36.00in.

This is part of one of four tailing wheels used to pull the tailings out of the mines in Jackson, California. Built in the early part of the 20th century, the wheels were used until the ore ran out. Today it is restored and an historical site. This one is located in the Jackson Gate part of the city. The early morning light highlights the beauty of the wheel. To see more of my trip around ghost towns of the west see my blog on this site.

To give my photographs a quality akin to a fine oil painting, I print them on medium-weight artist quality mat canvas and ship them ready for stretching and framing. The inks used to make the print are light fast and permanent and should last for well over 100 years. I spray a protective coating over the canvas to ensure that the image will have a long lifetime. This photograph is available in other sizes and on other media to suit your individual tastes and needs by contacting me directly at my email address above.
