First snow on Volcan is an original watercolor painting by Coko Brown painted en Plein Air.
About the artist:
As an artist, Coko Brown is eclectic in both her media as well as subject matter. She paints in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. Her subject matter includes landscapes and interiors, portraits and still lifes and she works in both studio and plein air environments. Coko’s style has centered upon color relationships and the presence and play of light. Stylistic influences range from realism, expressionism and impressionism to the abstract. Her inspirations come from her surroundings; her gardens, and the park-like acreage around her home that is nestled in the surrounding mountains. Coko works and lives in the San Diego backcountry near Julian, CA and actively participates in several art organizations.
